Permit Beacon provides a permit tracking service for construction projects. We do not manage permits, assist with permit applications, or offer legal advice.
User Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
Permitted Use
You agree to use Permit Beacon only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not use Permit Beacon in any way that causes, or may cause, damage to the service or impairment of the availability or accessibility of Permit Beacon.
Intellectual Property
The Permit Beacon service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Permit Beacon and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.
Payment and Renewal
General Terms By selecting a product or service, you agree to pay Permit Beacon the one-time and/or monthly or annual subscription fees indicated (additional payment terms may be included in other communications).
Automatic Renewal Unless you notify Permit Beacon before the end of the applicable subscription period that you want to cancel a subscription, your subscription will automatically renew, and you authorize us to collect the then-applicable annual or monthly subscription fee for such subscription (as well as any taxes) using any credit card or other payment mechanism we have on record for you.
Cancellation and Termination
You are solely responsible for properly canceling your account. You can cancel your account at any time by following the instructions on the Service. Permit Beacon reserves the right to (i) modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof) and (ii) refuse any and all current and future use of the Service, suspend or terminate your account (any part thereof) or use of the Service and remove and discard any of your Content within the Service, for any reason, including if Permit Beacon believes that you have violated these Terms.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Permit Beacon, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.
Changes
Permit Beacon reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or replace any part of this Agreement. It is your responsibility to check this Agreement periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the Service following the posting of any changes to this Agreement constitutes acceptance of those changes.
